Man faces charges after letting ‘vicious’ dog loose

A West Price Hill man who police say let his “vicious dog” out during an argument is facing charges after officers fatally shot the dog.

Angel Galen, 24, is being held at the Hamilton County Detention Center on charges of inducing panic and failure to properly confine or lease a dangerous dog, according to court documents. Hamilton County Municipal Court Judge William Mallory set his bond at $20,000 Monday morning.

According to court documents, Galen was arguing with others near his home on the 4000 block of West Liberty Street Saturday when he “let his dog out of the house in an effort to scare and cause alarm to others.”
