Quebec police say there will be no charges of criminal negligence laid in the case of the dog attack that killed a Puvirnituq girl June 14.
Four-year-old Sheena Levina Jenny Uqaituk was outside her home that day when she was attacked by a dog, which some reports say belonged to a neighbour.
Sûreté du Québec spokeswoman Marie-Josée Ouellet said June 17 that it was single dog involved, and the dog was tied up at the time of the attack.
Ouellet said the animal was seized and killed following the incident.
SQ members in the community have almost wrapped up their investigation to determine what happened.
