Two people suffered no life-threatening injuries after being bitten by a pit bull in East Hartford late Friday morning, police said.
The attack occurred in the area of 19 Bell Court just after 11:30 a.m. Police along with the animal control officer were called to the scene.
An unidentified man and woman were bitten, but police said the injuries were not serious.
The dog was taken to a local kennel, police said.
During the attack, a resident of Bell Court trued to the dog with a stick, but he saw the woman being bitten. The man was then bitten by the pit bull, police said.
The man and woman, who were attacked, live in the same building on Bell Court as the dog’s owner.
