Last pit bull removed from Holton | Kansas First News

Holton’s last pit bull has been removed from the city after it bit someone.

The pit bull was allowed to stay in Holton despite a ban.

City commissioners voted to let the dog stay because it was micro chipped, vaccinated, and insured but police received a report on June 23rd that the dog bit a mail carrier on the foot.

Authorities say the owner has since removed the dog from Holton.

Police could not confirm whether the dog was euthanized or just removed from the city.
