A screaming and cursing Larksville woman was cited for allowing a pit bull to run loose, Larksville police said.
Officers were dispatched to Barney Street to a report of a neighbor dispute about 5:30 p.m. Friday and arrived to find two residents complaining about the loose dog, which belongs to their neighbor. When police tried to talk to the dog’s owner, Kaitlyn Maria, she began cursing and yelling at the residents as well as police, officers said. “Yeah, my dog was running loose. Is that against the law?” police quoted Maria as saying.
Officers informed her it was illegal for her to allow her dog to run loose and that she would be cited for it. “Good, give me the (expletive) citations,” Maria said, before walking away, according to police. Maria was cited for violating a borough ordinance.
