Douglas Co. officials looking for dogs involved in biting incident | Local & Regional News | KPIC CBS 4 – News, Weather and Sports – Roseburg, OR

The Douglas County Environmental Health Program is asking the public’s help in locating a dog involved in a biting incident.

On Tuesday officials say a dog descrivbed as a “dark black” pit bull and a white pit bull with brown spots were running along the North Umpqua River near the Narrows near Glide, where the black dog bit a man who was fishing there in the hand.

Both dogs ran back up to Highway 138 and were not located.

Authorities say the dogs need to be located for observation purposes. Anyone with information is asked to call Douglas County Animal Control at 541-440-4328.
